Weekly Photo Challenge: Scale (in the Serengeti)

A submission to this week’s photo challenge: scale shows giraffe and zebra on our Autumn safari in the Serengeti – it’s a favorite picture of mine and is used as the default header for this blog.

It shows the true scale of the landscape against which even the tallest animals in the world seem tiny.

Weekly Photo Challenge: Scale (Different From Below)

Here is my entry for the Weekly Photo Challenge: Scale. This picture taken at Hidcote Gardens in Gloucestershire is of a Crown Imperial (Fritillaria) and originally featured in the On Top challenge back in April 2014. Taken  from below, using the front facing ‘Selfie’ camera  on my iPhone. The angle gives the plant enormous scale.
This picture also features in my post  Hidcote Gardens

Weekly Photo Challenge: Scale (Different From Above)

A submission to the weekly photo challenge: scale. On our flight back from Cambodia to London via Bangkok and Doha, I was lucky to get a window seat and snapped some pictures on route – these include pictures of Thailand, Qatar, Iraq/Turkey and England (London). The landscape from above viewed at a different scale to the usual perspective.
