Today we were up early for a day on the High Seas. Traveling to the South of the Island we boarded a boat organised by Safari Blue.
Travelling out to sea we first stopped over a coral reef where we spent some time snorkeling.
Then we stopped on a sandbank for refreshments.
Leaving the sand bank we again did some snorkeling over a region with losts of fish. No pics of the fish but as the camera is sadly not waterproof.
Returning to the boat we travelled on to a shallow lagoon within a coral island. A swim in the warm waters was on the agenda.
Then out into open sea in search of dolphins. After about 15mins weaving across the waters we finally encountered a small pod of Humpback Dolphins. This was a real highlight, though sadly this species are too shy for swimming with humans 😦
After our encounter we were back across to another coral island for lunch and a chance to swim, play volleyball,.walk or just relax.
After an hour or so it was back to our starting point. An excellent day!
