Tanzania continues to amaze us with it’s wealth of wildlife. We haven’t even been to a Game Park yet (more news on this soon!) but the bird and insect life is fascinating. Having just returned from Igombe and the St Dominic Annex Beach I thought Inwould share some of the creatures we encountered. These will be added to the wildlife pages too.

Loved the blue feathered bird and so glad it had freedom.

What’s the blue bird? It looks like it’s being held. Is it injured?

It’s a type of Kingfisher – it was bought from a boy who was taking it to a witch doctor – it was then released unharmed from what we could tell.
