The ordinary amongst the exotic.

T + 21

Sitting here at our new picnic bench on this sunny Saturday morning and gazing out at the garden. In amongst all the strange and exotic bird life here we have surprising visitors (to me at least).
Here in the heart of Africa we have sparrows. Good old, common all garden sparrows! It’s as bird which, to me, is as English as they come. They chatter and chirp away as they would at home, except here there are no blackbirds or starlings and stranger tones accompany their cheeping.
