I just love the fact that we get ‘seasons’ here in the UK. Great shots that pick up the challenge very well

that grey shot is giving me SERIOUS post traumatic stress! LOL!! I did a doubletake because it looks so much like fall or winter in Boston–totally flat and monochrome.
All of my negative emotions aside, I must admit the shot creates perfect contrast with the bright, cheery photo.

The “winter” shot was taken after a light snowfall on 23 March 2012, the Spring shot on 3 May 2013. So little over 1 month apart in terms of any given year!

Lol sounds a lot like MA! My junior year in college was spent in an “away” program in Washington D.C. where warm weather creeps in around March. at the end of the school yr the “away” students had to return to campus and when I flew into Worcester MA. on May 5 to see it snowing I thought “Awwww THIS shi*t?”
of course snow in May is a fluke but May is always barely springtime in New England. Your photo brought all these memories back! 😊
